SAN DIEGO LOCAL CRANE SERVICE

Atlas Crane Service was founded in 1988 as a subsidiary of one of San Diego’s largest HVAC companies. At the time there was no economical choice for Air Conditioning companies who wanted to do a quick “drive by” type of crane lift, so they bought a small boom truck and started their own.

After a few short years the word got out and Atlas Crane Service began doing these kind of lifts for a few other select companies. It soon became clear that this was going to be a very popular choice for the industry.

In 1993 Atlas Crane Service broke ties with its parent company which allowed it to service the entire HVAC industry with this new philosophy of a quick lift for a fair price.

The reception was incredible.

Since that time we have made a business out of serving the HVAC community by being professional, on time, courteous to customers, and knowledgeable. We understand the needs of those we are here to serve and we have the people and equipment to accomplish the task. We set the standard for the light commercial market because we invented and perfected it.

While others were trying to use large carrier mounted cranes that struggled to fit into a parking lot and blocked the entire area when it did, we saw the wisdom in using a truck mounted crane to more quickly and effectively accomplish the task. We now have a fleet of modern trucks, all of which meet or exceed the California Air Resources Board Clean Air Act, set up with large capacity and long reach cranes.

Our cranes are operated by trained and certified operators, all of which are certified riggers as well.

Through the years, others have tried to imitate our business model but have fallen short due to not understanding the industry, it’s hard to copy what you don’t understand.

Its not easy being number one and we don’t take it for granted, we work hard and earn it. We are the undisputed, number one HVAC crane company in the San Diego area and we thank our customers for that honor.

We look forward to working with our customers, some of which have used us for over 25 years, as well as building new relationships with others.
